CANTERBURY DEVELOPMENT LEAGUE 2026
Our club vision has always been to provide opportunities for players, coaches, and club members to grow their football knowledge and skills, inspiring them to participate in—and enjoy—the world game. Our programmes are designed for those seeking additional challenges and pathways for development.
Our Youth Development Programmes focus on advancing young players’ skills, playing ability, and confidence through a clearly defined development pathway. This pathway aims to nurture each player’s current abilities while offering the chance to be part of a long-term programme built on our club values, philosophies, education, and, of course, quality football training.
Building on the foundation created in our Junior Development Programme, our Youth Development Programme unlocks a player’s higher potential as they progress through the grades, preparing them for future Southern League aspirations or even higher levels of the game.
Our club aim is to have
1 CDL team and 1 Development team in each grade by 2027.
The CDL team will play in the Canterbury Development League, and the Development team will compete in Division 1–2 of the Mainland competition.
