FC Twenty 11 Incorporated was formed in 2011 following the merger of Avon United and Burnside FC football clubs. Based in the west of Christchurch, our aim is to provide the opportunity for male & female players of all ages to play the beautiful game of football more often. The merging of our two founding clubs has given us access to great grounds & resources. Based predominantly at Avonhead Park & Burnside Park (with additional grounds at Ray Blank Park and Upper Riccarton Domain), our size means we are able to better cater for players to play at a level more suited to their ability.
Not only do we provide the opportunity for footballers to play during the traditional winter season, we also run a number of extra football programmes outside of the winter period, and also during the school holidays for our junior and youth players. In addition we run a number of tournaments plus we also support our teams attending local, national, and even international tournaments throughout the year.
We pride ourselves on being the friendly club, passionately driven by our large number of coaches, team managers, and volunteers.
A key Club goal is to be a focal point within the community, helping bring people together for fun and personal growth. The fun is obvious. The personal growth extends beyond getting better at playing football to include other capabilities such as leadership, coaching, training, groundskeeping, fundraising, project management, and many other valuable skills.
Thank you for showing an interest in our Club. We would love for you to be part of our community. Welcome.
