Our U8 & 9 programs in 2026 provides players with a chance to play in a team for the winter. The games for our winter season will begin on the 2nd of May and conclude on the 12th September. All programs are designed to develop the childrens core skills such as: 1v1, Passing and receiving and striking the ball.
Registrations for term 1 & the 2026 winter season will be posted in early 2026.
Our Term 1 Program is now open for registration. These programs are for players of all abilities, this is a great chance for players wishing to give football a go, and also a chance for those who are wishing to be selected for our Junior Development Program to start training early in preparation for our team allocation sessions.

In accordance with New Zealand Footballs Whole Of Football 2.0 there are some exciting changes for our U8 & U9 players.
During 2026 our fun football program players will compete as a team during the winter season with the new 5 aside format. FC Twenty 11 will offer 2 different programs to players in our Fun Football age group. The following programs will be offered in 2026
Development Program
The Development Program is designed for players who love football and want to reach their potential as a footballer. The program includes 2 trainings weekly + a game. The program includes our popular Futsal Skill Centre. All trainings are delivered and overseen by qualified coaches Will Morgan, Simon Darby, David Coster and Phil Godsiff. Please note teams will be coaches on gameday by volunteers due to the smaller formats and volume of teams in these grades. The cost to participate in our U8 & 9 Development program is $430 for the 20 week program which includes: Coaching costs, Indoor facility hire, Mainland Football and New Zealand Football affiliation costs, equiptment and admin costs
Community Program
Our Community Program is designed for players who are wishing to play for FUN with their friends. Teams will train once weekly + a game. All trainings will be run by volunteer parents or caregivers. We are also excited to announce our schools community program, to find out about our winter schools program go to the Football in Schools Page. The cost to participate in our community programs is $275 which includes Mainland Football and New Zealand Football affiliation fees, equiptment, coaching resources for volunteers, admin fees
Skill Centre (Optional Training in addition to Community Program)
In addition to our community program, players may register for our U8 & 9 Futsal Skill Centre as an additional training. This training is led by qualified club coaches. Players may sign up on a term by basis. Registrations will be made available early 2026
