For 2026 this will be players born from 2013 to 2016
Our club vision has always been to provide opportunities for players, coaches, and club members to succeed in gaining football knowledge and skills, inspiring them to participate in and enjoy the world game. With a focus on fun, enjoyment, and development, the Junior grades are an exciting time for FC Twenty 11 players. During the Winter Season they start playing inter-club games; playing at our home grounds or away. All junior players receive fair playing time during training and games, allowing all players fair opportunities during play.
Grades 10 & 11 play 7-a-side football. Games are 50 minutes in duration (2 x 25 minutes).
Grades 12 & 13 play 9-a-side football. Games are 60 minutes in duration (2 x 30 minutes).
All Junior grades are mixed-gender. If your daughter prefers to play in an all-girls team during the winter season, please click here.
Our Term 1 Program is now open for registration. These programs are for players of all abilities, this is a great chance for players wishing to give football a go, and also a chance for those who are wishing to be selected for our Junior Development Program to start training early in preparation for our team allocation sessions.

Parent Involvement
Once players are allocated a team, a volunteer game day manager and referee will be required from amongst the players’ parents/caregivers.
All Saturday games are managed and refereed by volunteers.
The club will provide training and support for all team officials, including the offering of NZF Community Referee Courses.
Coaching or Managing a Team
The teams in the Club Programme will be led by volunteer coaches, managers, and referees – typically from amongst the players’ parents/caregivers.
FC Twenty 11 has been going through a sustained period of growth over the last few years. The biggest strain that this puts on us is in the area of finding enough volunteer coaches and/or managers.
Some of our previous coaches/managers were parents who had never have played football before!
To support these dedicated volunteers we run in-house training, and our Director of Football, Ricardo, is available to support coaches and provide resources as requested.
If you are interested, we would even support you through the NZF Youth Level 1 Coaching and Community Referee Courses.
If you are a parent or past player who has flirted with the idea of coaching or managing a team – please give it a try! It is a truly rewarding experience.
In the meantime, if you have any questions, please contact our Football Development Officer, Will Morgan on +64 22 035 6165 or email will.tm@fctwenty11.co.nz
